I’m Kelley Davis, an independent journalist from New Jersey. Over the years, I've explored stories within the greater Philadelphia area. Through every assignment, I search to find the heart of each story; what makes it tick and why it matters. My work has appeared both in print and online for local newspapers, including South Jersey Times, The Star Ledger and NJ.com.

I’m obsessed with stories: reading them, telling them, writing them. Mostly, I’m interested in people’s personal stories and as it turns out, love stories, too. That love, (along with a little help from my husband,) has launched my wedding blog, This Charming Bride, inspired by all things dreamy, lovestruck and magical.

When I’m not writing, you can catch me drawing or painting, feeding birds and opossums at my local wildlife refuge, or repeatedly telling my cat to get off the dining room table. But whatever I do, there’s always a notebook and pen nearby.
